Barnetts' Senior Care began business in the Kanawha Valley in 1998 (originally doing business as Home Helpers) and has earned a reputation for excellence. Owned by sisters, Sandra Barnett and Kathy Barnett, Barnetts' Senior Care was the first non-medical agency specializing in home care for seniors. You do have a choice. If you choose to remain in your own home, let us help you with professional assessment and advice. We believe it is the dream and the right of most people to age in place in the home they have enjoyed throughout their lives, the home in which they raised their children, the home where they choose to remain until their deaths. Our mission is to help you meet that goal.

Our services can be temporary while you recover from an illness, accident, or  surgery. Care for as long as you need us can be arranged.  We often work in conjunction with Hospice for those who are terminally ill and wish to remain at home.

We can provide you with quality caregivers who have been through our rigourous screening process. Former employment references are checked as well as a comprehensive criminal background check through the West Virginia State Police.  These caregivers are then Insured and Bonded to give you the peace of mind that comes with our pre-employment screening.

The first step is our comprehensive FREE in- home assessment of your needs. This initial meeting gives you a chance to meet us and see who will be in charge of your care as well as giving us a clear vision of your needs and expectations. Each caregiver is then trained to your specific needs and desires.

Although most clients need services in their own home, we are available to provide services in the hospital, an assisted living facility or even a long term care facility/nursing home.

A few hours a week may be all that is needed to help you live safely and comfortably at home. Give us a call!

Companion Care is a cornerstone of the service we offer. We provide  trained caregivers to assist in your home with services such as:

• 4 hours minimum up to 24 hours a day!
